Description:

This plant employs molecular sieve to purify air, waste nitrogen backflow expansion process.

The air removed with particle impurities goes into molecular sieve after being compressed in compressor. Then it goes into main heat exchanger to reduce temperature gradually until to the saturated temperature, following which it goes into nitrogen column for rectification.

The air is condensed in the nitrogen column continuously, by which the nitrogen content grows up, and obtain product at the top of nitrogen column. At the same time part nitrogen drawn from the top to main heat exchanger for being rewarming, and then sent to the client.

The rest nitrogen at the top goes into condenser evaporator to be condensed to liquid nitrogen which goes back to nitrogen column to follows rectification. The oxygen-rich liquid air at the bottom is throttled to liquid air subcooler to be evaporated to oxygen-rich air which drawn from the top to main heat exchanger to be rewarmed, and then it is drawn from the middle of main heat exchanger to turbo expander.

Oxygen-rich air out of cold box after being rewarmed in main heat exchanger, part of which is as the regeneration gas of MS, the rest is blown off.
