Process Description:
The proposed Air Separation Plant employs a process of positive flow expansion with double columns, which means using centrifugal air compressor to compress air, air cooling tower to pre-cool air, molecular sieve to purify air, booting expansion turbine to produce refrigerating capacity, double columns to rectify air, and the oxygen (nitrogen) product compressor to boost the feeding product gases.
Applications:
1. Basic oxygen steelmaking; Coal gasification projects; Used for inerting storage tanks of ships and tanks for petroleum products, or for protecting edible oil product from oxidation. Be appropriate for the industries and fields such as chemical industry, petroleum, electric power, steel, medical treatment, food, electronic, construction, print and automobile, etc.
