Description:
This plant employs molecular sieve to purify air, and complete-distillation hydrogen-free argon recovery.
Oxygen and nitrogen contained in the argon fraction are removed through distillation. Oxygen and argon are separated in the crude argon column, and in order to reduce the height of crude argon column, it usually adopts argon column with two sections. After distillation in the crude argon column, the oxygen content in the argon fraction is reduced, and the argon fraction moves on the second section of crude argon column for distillation, by which the crude argon gas is obtained at the top of crude argon column. The crude argon gas flows into pure argon column to separation argon and nitrogen. The liquid argon with high purity is obtained at the bottom of pure argon column.
