Description:
KDON-5600/14000 plant’s process is that purifying air with normal temperature molecular sieve, refrigerating with boosting turbo expander; and the fractionating column uses structured packing technology.
The purified processed air is divided into three parts: one part is used as instrument air; one part enters main heat exchanger; and the rest part enters expander. After preliminary rectification in the lower column, the liquid air is obtained from the bottom, and the pressure nitrogen and liquid nitrogen are obtained from the top of lower column, part of which is drawn, and nitrogen gas goes out of cold box through rewarming in main heat exchanger, and liquid nitrogen is fed into storage system. The liquid air and liquid nitrogen is withdrawn from the lower column to relevant area of upper column through liquid air/liquid nitrogen subcooler E2. With the further rectification in upper column, product oxygen is obtained from the bottom, and liquid oxygen is withdrawn from the condenser evaporator’s bottom to storage system.
