Description:
The process of this Air Separation Plant is that using molecular sieve to purify air under normal temperature, and using booster turbo expander to refrigerate; the fractionating column uses convection sieve trays. The precooling system employs air cooling tower for precooling. The water supplying of air cooling tower is composed with two sections: the lower section uses the circulating water after water processing, while the upper section uses the low temperature water through water cooling tower WC and water chilling unit. There is mesh mist eliminator set on the top of air cooling tower to prevent the moisture is out and remove the water drops in the air. The expanded air through expander is fed to upper column for rectifying. Obtain liquid air at the bottom of lower column, and obtain pure liquid nitrogen at the top. Obtain product oxygen at the bottom of upper column and fed out to user as product. Liquid oxygen is withdrawn from the bottom of condenser evaporator to storage tank. The pure nitrogen and liquid nitrogen is extracted from the top of column, and the pure nitrogen out of cold box after being rewarmed in subcooler and main heat exchanger as the product is sent to the user. The liquid nitrogen out of cold box goes into storage tank.
