Description:
The process employed by this KDON-3200(50Y)/3500 air separation unit utilizes molecular sieve to purify air under normal temperature, production of refrigerating capacity produced by booster expansion turbine. The fractionating column utilizes convection sieve plates.
The pre-cooling system utilizes air cooling tower for pre-cooling. The water supplying of air cooling tower is divided into two sections: the lower section utilizes the cycling water of water processing, and the upper section utilizes the low temperature water cooled by water cooling tower WC and water chilling unit. The mesh mist eliminator is set on the top of air cooling tower, which can prevent the moisture being taken out, and remove the water drops in the air. The air expanded by expander is sent to upper column to be rectified. Obtain liquid air at the bottom, and obtain pure liquid nitrogen at the top of lower column. Product oxygen is obtained at the bottom of upper column and sent to user as product. Liquid oxygen extracted from the bottom of condenser evaporator is sent to storage tank. The pure nitrogen and liquid nitrogen are extracted from the top of column, pure nitrogen goes out of cold box after being re-warmed in sub-cooler and main heat exchanger, and then it is sent to the user as the product. The liquid nitrogen goes out of cold box to storage tank.
