Process Description:
The PSA plant is used for the separation and refinement of various gases, and the purification of industry gas. For example, separation and refinement of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, purification of natural gas and acetylene gas, air separation for producing oxygen and nitrogen, integrated utilization of waste gases. This plant is used to producing nitrogen.
The air contacts the microporous - mesoporous solid adsorbent under a certain pressure, and the strong adsorption capacity component is preferentially adsorbed on the adsorbent, and the poor adsorption capacity component enriches in the adsorption gas to be discharged. While the rewarmed adsorbed component will be released from the adsorbent when the pressure decreases, by which the adsorbent achieves regeneration. The strong adsorption capacity component enriches in the released gas, and there is no external heating during releasing.
